First Visit

We look forward to meeting you and working together with a common goal of dental health for a lifetime.  During your first visit, Dr. McCaffrey will do a comprehensive exam, take digital x-rays, and photos.  This will allow her to access the health of your gum tissue and bone, condition of your teeth, how your teeth work together, and your appearance.  It is our goal to help you design a plan so that you may receive the dentistry that you need, or, just may want. Please expect to spend about an hour and a half at our office, as this is the time that we will reserve for you.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Any x-rays taken by a previous dentist, if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking.
  • If you are working with dental insurance, you will need to provide our office the information so that your coverage can be verified prior to your initial visit.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that requires you to take a prophylactic antibiotic prior to treatment (i.e., artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

X-Rays

If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional x-rays are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
